GIBH and RFASG hosted a successful Autism Awareness Workshop titled “Early Childhood Identification and Intervention Services in Texas” on Saturday, November 2, 2024. The event, aimed at raising awareness about early autism identification and effective intervention, drew an enthusiastic audience of parents, caregivers, and advocates.
The workshop featured presentations from three distinguished speakers: Leah Seyoum_Tesfa, RN, MEd; Mrs. Cynthia Singleton; and Guenet Degaffe, MD. Each speaker shared valuable insights into the importance of early diagnosis and intervention for children with autism, highlighting resources and services available in Texas.
